The rising temperatures reduce yields of major crops like wheat, rice and maize leading to food shortages the poor and vulnerable populations getting affected. The erratic rainfall and extreme events like floods, droughts and heatwaves damage agriculture causing migration and pay inequality to the less affluent. Livestock, fisheries also struggle. The indirect effects are seen on future generations leading to decline in health and dependence on modern medicine as the food quality and nutritious value are all reduced. It causes issues not just for Indians but people globally and it’s long term effects are visible in todays generations.
Our Solution
Our belief is based on the concept that every bite of food matters, ensuring proper nutrition for everybody who consumes food is part of our core mission, as a consequence we end up looking after the environment and come up with our tech enabled sustainable agriculture practices. We align with SDG’s 13 and 15 to reduce climate action as well as protect soil, biodiversity and ecosystems.
